Dr. Spector is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC USA. He is board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He serves as the Associate Program Director for the Neurology Residency at Duke. He also serves on the Education Committee for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is the Chair of the Educational Products Subcommittee of the AASM.
His clinical practice is devoted to the care of sleep disorders with a focus on sleep medicine education for medical students and residents. His research interests include obstructive sleep apnea in younger women, interpretation of polysomnographic variables, and diversity within neurology training programs.
