Dr Janice Fazackerley is Vice-President of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, having been on Council since 2013. As a former College tutor and Regional Adviser, it was natural to work mostly in the Training Dept. She chaired the Assessment Guidance rewrite in 2015. Later she chaired the Finance Committee, during the Governance review, and worked to highlight duties of a Trustee.

Janice qualified in Liverpool, and trained in anaesthesia in Mersey and North-West regions. She was first a consultant in Wigan and Leigh, and since 1994 has worked in Warrington & Halton Hospitals. Her work is now part-time, doing day case anaesthesia.
