Dr Sheena Hubble trained in the Southwest including Bristol, Birmingham and Plymouth before taking up consultant role in the intensive care unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital in 2003. In April 2017 she was invited to pilot the first full time post-operative consultant role covering general surgical patients and is currently working to develop the service with links to pre-operative assessment, care of the elderly and ITU outreach.
Her interests are perioperative medicine, lactate and the microcirculation. She lives with her husband and four children in Devon.
