Director Patient Information Forum (PIF)

The Patient Information Forum is the UK membership body for people working in health information and support. It represents more than 300 cross-sector organisations, including national patient groups, NHS Trusts and the private sector/industry. PIF runs the PIF TICK trust mark for health and care information and campaigns for everyone to have access to trusted health information they can use and act upon.

Sophie represents PIF on the NICE Shared Decision Making-Collaborative, and the Advisory Groups of the Professional Records Standards Body, the Centre of Perioperative Care and Media and Information Literacy Alliance. She is also a member of the Self Care Strategy Group. Sophie started her career as a journalist specialising in public health before moving into health information.
