Alan Goldsman has been Director of Strategy and Operations for Philanthropy and Alumni Relations at King’s since June 2018. In this role, Alan leads a team of alumni engagement, finance, planning and operations professionals to deliver an integrated development and fundraising programme across King’s College London and the Kings Maudsley Partnership. Until recently this also included managing and leading partnerships to fundraise for Guys and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Kings Health Partners, a collaboration between KCL and its Hospital partners.

Alan has held several board level roles in world-leading, London Teaching Hospitals. He brings over thirty years’ experience in Chief Financial Officer / Director of Finance and Director of Strategy roles. During his 12 years as Director of Finance at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Alan also served as the Director of Finance and Secretary to the Royal Marsden Charities; working to deliver excellence and impact with a significant fundraising development and investment portfolio.
