Bob Evans is a retired Chartered Town Planner and local authority director. He has participated in lay and patient engagement for over ten years, including with the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) and Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC).
He is a board member of the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC); and a founder member of the Patient, Carer and Public Involvement and Engagement (PCPIE) group, which operates under the auspices of the National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia (NIAA) and which gives patient perspectives on draft research proposals.
