Scott Brudney is an anesthesiologist and critical care physician at the University of Manitoba. Scott joined the department in November 2016 and is currently Chief Medical Officer of St. Boniface Hospital, which is one of two tertiary centres in Manitoba. Scott has been an active faculty member at the University and currently works in the ICU’s as well as the operating rooms.

Previously Scott worked at Duke from 2001 to 2016 in the Department of Anesthesiology as an intensivist as well as an anesthesiologist.

Scott was also the medical director on the surgical ICU at the VA in Durham and the Duke ICU in Raleigh.

His training was initially in Cardiff, Wales followed by a medicine residency in Stoke Manderville Hospital and an anesthesia/ICU residency at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
