Dr. James Davis is a practicing physician of Internal Medicine at Duke University and leads the smoking cessation program within Duke Peri-Operative Medicine. He serves as Medical Director of the Duke Center for Smoking Cessation where he serves as investigator on multiple tobacco treatment trials, serves as Director of the Duke Smoking Cessation Program, a network of nine
clinics providing specialized tobacco treatment within the Duke Health System and serves as Co-Director of the Duke-UNC Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program, a program that provides training to medical providers who wish to become Certified Tobacco treatment Specialists.
