Dr Kayla Armstrong Varnado gained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA in 2010 and became a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016 after training at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, LA.

Kayla is currently a Clinical Supervisor at the Ochsner Therapy and Wellness, Kenner, LA. Part of her role involves the training of new staff and the placement, education, and training of physical therapy students. Alongside this, she also works clinically to evaluate and treat a variety of orthopedic diagnoses.

Previously she has undertaken part in the 36 week Clinical Internship Experience ran by the LSU New Orleans DPT Program, which enabled her to work in a variety of clinical settings including Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, Children’s Hospital, Inpatient Rehab, Lakeview Regional, Outpatient Orthopedics and Touro, Acute Care.
