I have been a consultant Anaesthetist in Exeter since 1997. Prior to that I worked at University of Virginia (USA) and the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne (Australia). My post-graduate training posts in anaesthesia were in the Royal Navy, Glasgow , Bristol and Plymouth.

Having been Clinical Director for Critical Care and the Transformation team, I have been Medical Director but am now re-engaged in full time clinical practice. I am a member of the Perioperative Medicine Leadership Group at the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
