Dr Roisin Coary is a final year SpR in Geriatric and General Internal Medicine, with a specialist interest in Peri-operative Medicine. She is currently based in Dublin, Ireland.

In 2018, she was delighted to be awarded a prestigious Dr Richard Steevens bursary. This allowed her to undertake a fellowship in Peri-operative Care of Older People Undergoing Surgery (POPS) in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, specifically working with older patients undergoing gastrointestinal and vascular surgery, as well as older trauma patients. Her role included pre-operative assessment clinics, while
also contributing to the local NELA database.
