Agnese Viganò obtained a degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Molecular Medicine at University of Milan; at present she works as a research collaborator at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan.
During the PhD she gained experience in gel-based proteomic technologies: two dimensional gel electrophoresis and 2-D Fluorescence Difference Gel Electrophoresis (2D-DIGE). She is mainly involved in projects regarding the study of skeletal and cardiac muscle proteomes from animal models and humans under hypoxic and oxidative stress due to partial O2 deprivation.
