Since 2007, Mr. Schiff has held several executive leadership positions at DukeHealth.
Key to his responsibilities are to oversee the PDC’s multi-specialty affiliated physicians network including responsibility for operational planning and network development for PDC specialty faculty practice. This includes oversight for private practice affiliation activities across the State of North Carolina under various contracting models ranging from private practices, hospital service agreements, and ambulatory asset valuations. He also is responsible for the value based strategic initiatives of the PDC and he also serves on the Operations, Physician Credentialing and Payor Strategy Committee’s for DukeHealth’s Clinically Integrated Network (Duke Connected Care). He previously served as the Senior Administrative Director for the formation and management of the DukeWell population health program through late 2016.
Prior to Mr. Schiff’s roles at Duke, Mr. Schiff served in the following roles:
- 1999-2007: Executive Vice President for WebLink of the North Carolina (PWL) and served as member of the Physician WebLink Senior Executive team based in Irvine, CA
- 1999-2007: Executive Director for PrimaHealth IPA from December 1999 until spring 2007. Responsible for all operations and the IPA’s population based management program “Duke Prospective Health”.
Mr. Schiff achieved his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing Management in 1992 from East Carolina University and a Masters in Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia/ Virginia Commonwealth University in 1997.
