Below are the upcoming deadlines:

• EBPOM World Congress 2024: Open: 14 December 2023 | Close: 10 May 2024
• EBPOM Ireland 2024: Open: 14 December 2023 | Close: 12 July 2024

Deadlines within the competition:

If you do not receive an automated confirmation email within a week of submitting your abstract please email it directly to the admin email (admin@ebpom.org) with the subject title “Abstract competition confirmation required”

Abstracts should contain:

• Title: Short and specific.
• Introduction: Stating the hypothesis or objective of the study.
• Methods: Measurements, Design and patients.
• Results: A summary with appropriate data.
• Conclusion: A succinct summary.
• Reference(s): Author , Journal, Volume, Page, and year.

Any work is acceptable which is has not been published in a Peer Reviewed Journal by the abstract submission deadline date.

By submitting your work you agree to register for congress if your work is accepted for presentation , both poster and/or oral.

Please ensure when formatting your abstract that:

• Inclusion of up to 1 table and 1 figure is permitted.
• Abstract length should not exceed 400 words – this includes references.
• Single line spacing.

If you are invited to present your abstract, acceptance of this invitation explicitly includes acceptance that the presentation of your abstract will be made available in recorded form in a manner which will be publicly discoverable on the internet.

Your abstract will also be featured in the relevant Abstract booklet after the event, which will be available to view on the EBPOM website.

Any work (audits, best practice, case reports etc) is acceptable but must not have been published in a Peer Reviewed Journal by the abstract submission deadline date.
